What is EDGE?

Is there an age requirement to use EDGE?
Yes, you must be at least 21 years old.
Will setting up an EDGE account impact my credit score?
No, EDGE does not pull your credit report.
Why do you need my birthday, phone number, address, and social security number?
These are required to verify your identity and ensure compliance with regulations, including confirming you’re over 21.
What is KYC verification?
KYC (Know Your Customer) verifies identity and is required for FDIC insurance on your EDGE Deposit Account.
Why do I have to connect my account through Plaid?
Plaid securely links your bank account for deposits and withdrawals.
What are the requirements to use EDGE Market Card Services?
You must be 21+, a U.S. resident or citizen, authorized for business, and meet other eligibility criteria.
Deposit Questions
How long does it take to process a deposit?
Bank deposits take up to 24 hours. For Tier 2 and up users bank deposits will clear within a few hours on regular business days. Bank deposits made on a Friday will not clear until the following week.
How do I make a deposit?
Go to "Deposit Funds" in your account, select either Bank Deposit or Card Deposit, and follow prompts.
What should I do if I didn’t receive a verification email?
Check your spam folder, then contact support@edgemarkets.io if needed.
Why is my deposit from my EDGE card into my sportsbook pending?
There may be a delay with the VISA network settling the transaction with the payment processor.
How long does it take for cash back to show in my account?
Our system takes 48 hours to post cashback and update your total spent. VISA typically takes 24 hours to settle transactions and once they settle our system needs an additional 24 hours to update. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Why is the button grayed out when I try to make a bank deposit?
Your bank does not support real time balance checks which we require for deposits. You can try to link another bank account or use the card deposit option.
Account Management Questions
Are there fees for using Edge Boost?
There are no fees or minimum balance requirements. Revenue is generated when you use the card, a portion of which is returned as cashback.
How does the cashback program work?
You can earn up to 0.50% cashback depending on your spending tier. Eligible transactions in betting and fantasy sports categories qualify for rewards, credited in the next monthly cycle.
Where can I use the Edge Boost VISA card?
The card can be used at licensed sportsbooks, iGaming sites, horse racing platforms, daily fantasy sports sites, and certain brick-and-mortar casinos. It is not valid for offshore or foreign transactions.
Is my Edge Boost account insured?
Yes, deposits are FDIC-insured up to $250,000 through Cross River Bank.
Is Edge Boost available to everyone?
Edge Boost is available to U.S. residents; some U.S. territories may not be eligible.
How can I get help if I have a gambling problem?
Edge Boost supports responsible gaming. If you need help, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
How do I get my money out of my EDGE account?
In the menu, select Withdraw Funds, choose a connected bank account, enter the amount, and confirm.
How do I update my address?
Contact support@edgemarkets.io with proof of your address change.
Where can I view my transaction history?
Go to Card Management > Card Transactions in your account for a detailed list.
How do I add another bank account?
Select Manage Accounts, then click "Connect via Plaid Link" to add an account.
How do I manage email notifications?
Go to your profile, select My Account, and adjust your Notification Preferences.
How do I cancel my account?
Contact support to initiate account cancellation; requests process within 24 hours.
Can I use Apple Pay or CashApp?
They are not supported at this time.
Can I use the card for crypto purchases?
No, crypto transactions are unsupported as EDGE is an FDIC-insured bank account.
Is there a limit on daily or monthly cash back?
No, there’s no limit to daily or monthly cash back.
Card Transaction Questions
Where can I view my full virtual card number?
Go to Card Management > Betting Card, then click "Click to Reveal Number."
Can my sportsbook send my winnings back to my EDGE card?
EDGE doesn’t currently offer direct deposits from sportsbooks.
What if my preferred sportsbook isn’t listed?
The EDGE card works with all legal U.S. sportsbooks, DFS, and iCasinos that accept VISA.
Does the bank account name need to match the card name for transfers?
Yes, the names must match, or you must be a signatory with direct credentials for business accounts.
Why can’t I copy the card number?
Copying is restricted to meet regulatory requirements.
Where can I use the card?
EDGE can be used at US based legal gambling sites including: Sports betting, daily fantasy, sweepstakes, lottery, horse racing, prediction markets, and iCasino that accept VISA. In addition, it can be used at brick and mortar gaming locations such as casinos and card rooms.
Affiliate/Referral Program Questions
Do you have an affiliate or referral program?
Yes, we have an affiliate program. Please send an email to support@edgemarkets.io with your contact information, where you plan to market, and approximately how many users you expect to convert. You'll get a response with the affiliate program information and link.
How often do the stats from referrals update?
For the first deposit it updates in real time. It can take up to two days after that to update depending on how fast transactions settle with VISA.
